Refund, Returns, and Missing/Undelivered Items Policies

We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving or purchasing your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at fromheretohomeessentials@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Missing/Undelivered Items via USPS and Local Delivery

For all orders shipped priority, please use the provided tracking number to track the movement and delivery of your order.  Priority mail shipments include up to $100 insurance.  If your order is not delivered within 15 days, please contact fromheretohomeessentials@gmail.com. You may file a claim with USPS or request we do it on your behalf.

Once the package is in USPS's hands, there is only so much we can do. Unfortunately, we cannot help if your package has been delivered to the wrong address or picked off by porch pirates, as this is a USPS issue. I hate it too. I'm sorry. 

According to USPS policy, tracking information is stored for 120 days, and all claims on Priority mail MUST be made within sixty days of the shipment. Once that window is closed, there is, unfortunately, nothing From Here to Home Essentials can do to locate your package and no refunds or exchanges will be accepted. 

Note: First class mail does NOT come with tracking or insurance. 

For all deliveries, the purchaser will be sent a text message when the order is delivered to the delivery address. Again, once the order has been marked as delivered, there will be no refunds for porch pirates. I'm sorry. Please note any special instructions, such as leaving your purchase with a concierge, or inside of a screen door. If there has been a delivery error on my end, please do reach out. Refunds/exchanges will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

Because of the pop-up nature of From Here to Home, replacement items cannot be guaranteed. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like liquid soaps/refills, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products UNLESS THEY ARE UNOPENED AND IN SEALED CONTAINERS). Due to the nature of liquid refilling, liquid refills cannot be returned. 

We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
